Social media and word of mouth marketing has been the focus of our marketing activity both as a direct hire and, more recently, as a consultant. With over twenty years in the communications field alone – both internal and external – we've successfully positioned numerous industries to be game-changing agents.
Communication strategy. To support any business initiative, you must have a solid communications strategy involving to develop and understand the consumer/customer conversion funnel, so you will have insight to brand character, strategic equities, and brand equities.Develop a comprehensive and cohesive communication framework, optimizing and harmonizing those guidelines to speak and resonate with the target audience or stakeholders.
Bring it all together in order to win in the marketplace, and optimize as necessary and as budgets allow. Your communication model should evolve to reflect the customer's journey and trends in the marketplace to include graphic style, writing style, product type and distribution channel(s).
Research. It doesn't matter a hill of beans what you think you know about your target audience... or the business climate. You must have connections to research and be willing to conduct your own surveys and polls. And then interpret the results with feasibility, SWOT analysis, competitive analysis, and tactical maneuvers identified to get you where you want to go. Kind of like playing Nancy Drew, except you're all grown up now.
Search engine marketing. Google has a comprehensive program using AdWords and AdSense, Yahoo! also has a nice program, if you have any funds left in your marketing spend. Optimize your online content to get found when people are searching. And sometimes they don't even know they need you until they come across your persuasive messaging and engaging content.
Social media marketing. Everybody knows there's a ton of emphasis on digital strategies these days. Using YouTube Brand Channel marketing, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn has resulted in phenomenal viral exposure for businesses Parker Creative has supported.
Events planning. Trade shows, corporate events, internal service openings webinars + seminars. They all help spread your message. And you might make a friend in the process, too.
External relations. Getting the message out to the media, writing and updating press releases and press kits, updating media lists. These are the nuts and bolts of getting exposure and making sure the image you want to present stays that way.
